The Many Faces of a Child | Portrait Photography

For those of you who know me I don't like using my own children as examples in my portfolio, studio windows, website or on the walls of the studio. This isn't because they are ugly or not pleasing on the eye, Neither am I one of those parents with consent issues when publishing pictures to the internet. But in fact I feel it portrays the wrong message to my clients or prospective clients. I see them asking themselves " Is he not busy? He must be so quiet hes using his own children as examples" - I have enough examples because I'm a busy studio and I've been doing this profession for over ten years now so I have a nice archive of images. But in this instance I have succumb to the pressure every parent has and that is the love of their children. So here we go this is Leah aged 5 she will be for the present future in a 24" x 20" sized print in my studio window. Everywhere we go people comment on her and how cute she is. I'm bias of course shes cute she my daughter!
